Our client is looking to hire a GM - Finance & Accounting to lead the group's financial strategy, governance, and reporting. This role is pivotal in supporting business growth and ensuring robust financial operations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reportingLead all accounting functions including AP/AR, GL, tax, and auditEnsure regulatory compliance and alignment with international accounting standards (IFRS)Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and internal stakeholdersImplement and improve financial systems, controls, and proceduresProvide commercial insight and strategic support to executive leadershipLead and mentor a growing finance team across multiple locationsSupport M&A, funding, and group restructuring activity where relevantKey Requirements:10-15 years of finance experience, with recent leadership in an industrial or trading environmentStrong background in financial reporting, analysis, and risk managementExperience working in a regional or group-level finance roleACA/CPA/ACCA qualification preferredExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsERP experience (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and process improvement mindset
