As part of our energetic and welcoming team, you will enthuse and motivate students to strive for success while maintaining a healthy learning environment for all children within the school.Social worker provides counseling to students and parents; provides psycho-social assessment and diagnosis of behavioral disabilities with recommendations and/or environmental manipulations at the school, home and/or in the community with periodic re-evaluations.Participates in case conferences involving cooperation with school personnel and parents; makes referral to Ministry of Education with appropriate follow-up; serves as a liaison between school and families.Policies for safer recruitment are aligned with all accrediting bodies including local authorities’ decrees and mandates and The National bodies such as the Department for Education's "Keeping Children Safe in Education" recommendations, NEASC Safeguarding and Protection Standards of 2016. Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
Two years of experience as a Social Worker in UAE.
Degree equivalency.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate about social work and results in non-technical language.
Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding
The ability to use data effectively to monitor and enhance student progress.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
