- Study and prepare site development plans, including earthwork calculations.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQs) for earthworks (excavation and backfill) under the direction of the Lead Electrical/Instrument Engineer
- Design underground utility networks (storm water, sanitary water, oily water, etc.).
- Ensure all assigned activities are completed within stipulated man-hour budgets and time schedules.
- Assist in preparing project-related standards and job notes for assigned projects.
- Perform engineering design calculations and prepare design sketches as required.
- Review, comment on, and approve drawings related to E&I scope.
- Review and comment on supplier drawings and other discipline drawings.
- Attend progress meetings and assist in preparing project progress reports.
- Advise supervising engineer on schedule slippages, causes, corrective actions, and unresolved technical issues.
- Assist in preparing contract requisitions and schedules of quantities for underground utilities work.
- Liaise with construction personnel and address site queries during construction.
- Perform duties as reasonably assigned by the Lead or Supervising Electrical/Instrument Engineer
- Execute all assigned work to agreed safety, health, and environmental standards, demonstrating commitment to high HSE performance.
- Participate in and provide advice on design activities and initiatives, including training/inductions and documentation review.
- Verify that all designs meet required standards, project objectives, and agreed schedules.
- Diploma in Engineering (i.e Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Environmental, Chemical, IT, Computer, Software, Electronic, etc.) or equivalent from an accedited institue with a minimum of Ten (10+) years experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry including minimum five (5) years (preferred) in GCC region.
- Specific experience or qualification or training or technical certificate shall be provided, if required and as applicable.
