The Consultant Neurologist is responsible for diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological disorders while ensuring high standards of patient care, clinical accuracy, and long-term treatment planning within a hospital setting.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations and develop patient-specific treatment plans
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and migraine
  • Interpret neurodiagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, EEG, EMG, and lumbar punctures
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions to manage complex clinical cases
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical trainees
  • Contribute to clinical audits, research activities, and continuous medical education programs
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinical protocols, and quality standards
Ideal Profile
  • Medical degree with specialization in Neurology
  • Board certification in Neurology from a recognized authority
  • Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialization clinical experience
  • Strong expertise in neuroimaging and neurophysiological diagnostics
  • Proven ability to lead clinical teams and manage complex cases
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous
