The ideal candidate would be process-oriented, possess excellent staff & task managerial skills, natural leader, pay close attention to detail, ensure compliance with GAAP and have analytical thinking skills. Additionally this role will require knowledge and experience of IFRS.To manage and control various financial and accounting systems, management accounts and stake holders reports and compliance procedures of the company in accordance with the internationally accepted standard, and monitor its internal control to ensure financial stability and maintain complete transparency and accuracy in the system and reports and enable those reports to support in decision making process.The Finance Manager will assist the respective AFGRE department heads in the daily operations, decision making, strategic business planning, and monthly management meetings and business reviewsWhat you will do:Responsible for:Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting financial controller in creation of audit sign off pack with comprehensive audit schedules which will reconcile with management accounts and supporting head of department in signing off the financial statements as per agreed timeline
  • Responsible for preparation of Bridge report, Flash Reports, Business Review and other stake holder reports viz. financial management reports as per agreed time line
  • Loan covenant testing for various facilities extended by the banks, calculation of Equity cure for the various entities involved.
  • Preparation of direct cash flow reports based on entity, borrower level and at consolidated level and gauge any funding requirements from Parent/Group
  • Responsible for yearly budgets, forecast and long term plan are prepared as per agreed timelines with the presentation packs and making sure agreed numbers are uploaded in SAP and BPC with zero error.
  • Contribute in the various initiatives of process development & mapping, system automation.
  • Effectively lead the Financial Planning & Analysis team by ensuring setting & review of objectives, providing necessary feedback, developing training plans and opportunities and ensuring
Customers
  • Financial Accounting & Reporting - Overseeing the process of monthly accounts closure as per applicable accounting standards and policies. Ensuring Financial statements are prepared, audited, signed as per agreed timelines.
  • Management Accounting - Responsible for generating periodic management accounts on agreed time schedules and acting as decision support system for top management.
  • Compliance Reporting - Responsible for preparation of compliance reports for stake holders, Bankers on a regular interval.
  • Financial Planning & Forecasting - Responsible for Preparation of annual plan, quarterly forecast and long term plan.
  • Group Treasury Reporting - Preparation of weekly, monthly and annual cash flow forecast for group treasury

  • Well-versed in IAS / IFRS.
  • Well-versed in preparation of Financial Statements.
  • Excellent know of MS office tools specially advance excel and power point

What equips you for the roleMinimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
  • Post-graduate degree in commerce / accounting / finance. Knowledge of management reporting and accounting systems is necessary.
  • Knowledge of ERP Financial Software is necessary; SAP expertise will be preferred.
  • Real Estate related Certification from Dubai Real Estate Institute. (Real Estate Diploma, or Certification in Professional Owners Association Management), is preferred.
Minimum Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounting, out of which a minimum of 4 years in the Real Estate industry at a financial management position.
  • Experience in Real Estate / Construction / Project Management industries will be preferred.
