Job DescriptionThe Electrical Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a research assistant in the area of Antenna Design. The research assistant should be knowledgeable of Antenna design and modeling. The candidate should be able to design, model fabricate and test ultra-high frequency sensors for partial discharge. The preferred candidate should have demonstrated experience in both field electrical engineering and electromagnetics in specifically and preferably have a master’s degree with some research done in the field of electromagnetics.Minimum QualificationAn appropriate educational degree supplemented with documented evidence to support the following: • Basic knowledge in Antenna Modeling • Ability to fabricate and experimentally measure antennas in the lab • Good technical writing skills • Flexible approach and initiative in executing the role.Preferred Qualification
