This role focuses on diagnosing and managing orthopedic conditions in children, performing complex surgical procedures, and ensuring optimal functional outcomes through comprehensive and patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities
Conduct detailed physical examinations and diagnostic assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Perform pediatric orthopedic procedures including fracture repair, deformity correction, and casting
Monitor patient recovery and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on prevention, rehabilitation, and post-treatment care
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatrics, physiotherapy, and rehabilitation specialists
Stay updated with advancements in pediatric orthopedic techniques and treatments
Participate in clinical meetings, teaching, and professional development activities
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and patient safety standardsIdeal Profile
Medical degree with specialization in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Pediatric Orthopedics
Board certification such as American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience
Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensure
Strong expertise in pediatric musculoskeletal conditions and surgical techniques
