In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maneuvering mobile cranes on construction and industrial sites, ensuring all lifts are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local regulations and industry standards. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards on every project.
  • Operate 50-ton mobile cranes safely and efficiently in accordance with established safety protocols and operational procedures
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections of crane equipment, hydraulic systems, and safety mechanisms to ensure optimal functionality
  • Analyze load specifications, site conditions, and rigging requirements to determine appropriate lifting techniques and positioning
  • Communicate effectively with ground personnel, riggers, and site supervisors to coordinate lifts and ensure safe execution
  • Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation, maintenance records, and daily activities
  • Adhere to all local regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards throughout all operations
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to supervisory personnel
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and equipment checks as required
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize site efficiency and project timelines
Qualifications
  • Valid mobile crane operator license/certification (50-ton capacity or equivalent) required for UAE operations
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience operating mobile cranes on construction or industrial sites
  • Comprehensive knowledge of load calculations, rigging techniques, and crane safety protocols
  • Strong understanding of equipment inspection procedures and preventive maintenance practices
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings, load charts, and site plans
  • Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining focus on safety
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety compliance and incident prevention
  • Physical capability to perform duties in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
  • Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Preferred: Experience with multiple crane types and advanced rigging operations
  • Preferred: Knowledge of local UAE construction standards and regulations
