The Consultant Breast Surgery Specialist is responsible for diagnosing and treating breast conditions, ensuring high-quality surgical care, effective treatment planning, and improved patient outcomes across both benign and malignant cases.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage breast-related conditions including benign and malignant tumors
- Perform surgical procedures such as mastectomy, lumpectomy, and reconstructive surgeries
- Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive treatment planning
- Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative patient care
- Utilize minimally invasive and advanced surgical techniques where applicable
- Educate patients on treatment options, recovery processes, and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
- Stay updated with advancements in breast surgery and oncology practices
- Medical degree with specialization in General Surgery and Breast Surgery
- Board certification in General Surgery or equivalent recognized qualification
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in breast surgery
- Expertise in oncologic and reconstructive breast procedures
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Western-trained background preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary clinical environments
