The People Operations Executive - Regional (Shared Services) is responsible for managing and maintaining employee data and processes across all HR systems for the Middle East region. This role ensures accurate and consistent HR records, supports the preparation of HR letters, internal communications, and announcements, and assists with regional People initiatives, including employee engagement, benefits administration, and HR system implementation. The position acts as a central point for People operations, supporting both regional teams and country-level People Operations teams..Responsibility and Authority
  • Maintain and update employee profiles across all PEOPLE systems, including SAP OM, HRIS, company directory, global grade, and key employee information.
  • Ensure accurate processing of employee information changes, updates, promotions, designations, and other HR records.
  • Administer PEOPLE systems to maintain data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Prepare HR letters requested through ESS and promotion, increments, change of designation, disciplinary letters, and other employee communications
  • Prepare internal memos, circulars, announcements, and other corporate communications related to People Operations.
  • Maintain electronic employee files centrally for regional records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Maintain, support and oversee the employee engagement calendar for the Middle East region, including service awards, wellness programs, Empuls, various awards, onboarding kit and local events.
  • Support country-level People Operations teams in the implementation of engagement initiatives.
  • Support regional PEOPLE team in administering employee benefits programs and support maintaining the benefits catalog.
  • Assist with regional employee insurance policies and ensure smooth coordination with local teams and vendors.
  • Support generating PEOPLE reports and analytics as required by regional PEOPLE leadership.
  • Support monitoring of key HR metrics, data integrity checks, and audit requirements.
  • Assist regional PEOPLE team in various PEOPLE projects, including system implementation, process standardization, and improvements across the Middle East region.
  • Ensure consistent execution of regional PEOPLE initiatives and adherence to timelines and SLAs.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for PEOPLE system-related queries and support country People Operations teams in daily PEOPLE operations.
  • Work closely with the regional People Operations Manager to support process harmonization and compliance initiatives.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience in UAE payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of WPS file preparation and submission.
  • Experience in EOSB calculation, leave settlements, allowances, and final settlements.
  • Experience in payroll validation, reconciliation, and variance checks.
  • Ability to act as backup for Payroll Specialist during absences or peak cycles.
  • Good understanding of UAE labour law related to payroll compliance.
  • Exposure to payroll processing across other Middle East countries (KSA, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, etc.).
  • Experience handling multi-country payroll coordination within the Middle East region.
