The Civil Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising civil maintenance work across plant facilities. This role ensures infrastructure integrity, supports safe operations, and contributes to minimizing downtime through effective maintenance coordination.Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage civil work orders to control backlog and ensure timely execution
- Plan, schedule, and supervise civil maintenance activities to maintain plant reliability
- Coordinate with contractors for on-call services during operations, shutdowns, and emergencies
- Monitor work progress and provide reports to ensure quality and timely completion
- Prepare scope of work, support contract management, and assist in cost control activities
- Conduct root cause analysis for major maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure maintenance records, reports, and logbooks are updated accurately
- Lead daily and weekly safety toolbox talks to promote safe work practices
- Supervise testing and commissioning of new or modified systems and installations
- Inspect work areas and ensure tools and equipment are maintained for continuous use
- Monitor inventory levels of materials and spare parts required for maintenance tasks
- Prepare material requisitions and coordinate procurement of required resources
- Inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil maintenance supervision within oil and gas or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of plant maintenance processes and civil works execution
- Experience in contractor coordination and maintenance planning
- Good understanding of safety standards and risk assessment practices
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills
