Assistant Logistics Manager Construction Projects - Al-Futtaim - Dubai UAE

• Plan and manage construction site logistics operations including site setup, access control, traffic management, and welfare facilities
• Coordinate the delivery, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment across construction sites
• Develop logistics plans to ensure efficient movement of vehicles, materials, and workforce within the site environment
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to schedule deliveries and prevent site congestion
• Manage laydown areas, storage facilities, and material handling processes
• Supervise logistics subcontractors and ensure compliance with safety standards and contractual obligations
• Monitor allocation and utilization of plant, machinery, cranes, and vehicles on site
• Manage hiring, off-hiring, and maintenance of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and cost control
• Implement and enforce traffic management plans and site access procedures
• Oversee waste management processes including segregation, storage, and disposal in accordance with regulations
• Serve as the main contact for logistics coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and authorities
• Provide operational updates and logistics performance reports to project and operations leadership
• Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and company operational standards

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, logistics, civil engineering, or a related field
• At least seven years of experience in construction logistics management within a main contractor environment
• Strong knowledge of site logistics planning, construction operations, and equipment coordination
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, and project teams
