This role focuses on delivering specialized pediatric eye care services, ensuring early diagnosis and effective management of childhood vision conditions while supporting long-term visual development through clinical expertise and family-centered care.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat pediatric eye conditions including strabismus, amblyopia, congenital cataracts, and refractive errors
- Perform pediatric ophthalmic surgeries and laser procedures when required
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for infants, children, and adolescents
- Develop personalized treatment plans and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with orthoptists, pediatricians, and other specialists for integrated care
- Educate families on treatment plans, prevention strategies, and visual development
- Participate in clinical audits, CME programs, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with healthcare standards
- Medical degree with specialization in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pediatric eye care
- Eligibility or licensure with DHA preferred
- Strong clinical and surgical skills in pediatric ophthalmology
- Excellent communication skills with children and families
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary healthcare environments
