Job Description:Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the leading insurance brokerage firms in the UAE. We are seeking a seasoned Deputy Vice President with a strong background in Commercial Lines Insurance. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the UAE, either with an insurance broker or an insurance company, and a proven track record of leading and developing teams. This position plays a critical role in managing the retention team, developing strategic plans, and ensuring the growth and quality of our commercial insurance business.Responsibilities:- Retention and Client Management: Lead the retention team to manage and grow the renewal business for commercial insurance. Manage significant large client accounts directly, ensuring their insurance needs are met with the highest standards of service.- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders. Work closely with the sales team to support business development and client retention strategies.- Technical Support and Development: Provide technical guidance to the sales team, particularly in complex insurance matters. Attend client meetings as needed to offer expert advice and support.- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the business. Implement process improvements and quality control measures to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.- Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and motivate a team of executives, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Requirements- Proven experience as a seasoned professional in Commercial Lines Insurance, with a comprehensive understanding of products including Property, Liability, Engineering, Miscellaneous, Specialty, and Marine lines of business.- Significant experience working in the UAE, either with an insurance broker or an insurance company.- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of executives.- Preferably qualified in Insurance with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) – UK or a similar institute.- Excellent relationship management, strategic planning, and leadership skills.Benefits- Competitive salary and benefits package
