Job DescriptionTo manage the overall governance of Treasury, including processes, systems, structure and policy framework for Treasury, driving governance across the entire value chain, leading innovation (e.g. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain) and new product approval assessments for Treasury, leading a comprehensive change programme (“Treasury 2.0”), focused on Strategy and Governance, Methodology and Reporting, Data and IT, leading content design for the programme to ensure full alignment from key stakeholders (Risk, Finance and IT) departmental compliance and best practice solutions and innovations are identified and implementedStrategy and PlansIn conjunction with, and as required by the Chief Officer of the Group, contribute to the formulation, implementation and delivery of the Group’s strategy in line with the ADCB’s vision, mission, values and prioritiesTranslate the strategy into operational business plans for the short, medium and long term within the department(s) and ensure that performance is monitored, reported and delivered and necessary actions are taken to achieve the strategy and plansManage Treasury GovernanceEvaluate processes, systems and structure of Treasury, identifying gaps and overlaps in set-up to ensure they are fit for purpose and updated against changing legislationEstablish and maintain a comprehensive Treasury Policy framework to ensure adherence to the Banks process and policies,Develop and Implement Comprehensive Change ProgrammeProactively identify risks and challenges, developing mitigation plans in order to interactions.SkillsAt least 10 years of experience in TreasuryBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Master’s Degree in Business AdministrationProven experience in program management, particularly in leading complex transformation initiatives within TreasuryStrong understanding of Treasury functions, strategies, methodologies, and reporting requirementsExceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to navigate and lead change in large organisations, with a focus on strategy execution and governanceIn-depth knowledge of IT systems and data management within TreasuryStrong knowledge of treasury operations, financial instruments, risk management techniques, and capital marketsExcellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and people management abilities
