Specialist - Journalism and Editing

• Coordination and follow up with relevant department heads, section heads and staff to ensure the provision of timely support on Corporate Communications initiatives.
• Coordination and follow up with external media and publishing partners, and media agencies whether traditional or social media.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and update of the section related policy, procedures manual, delegation of authority, systems user manuals and standard forms, and ensure alignment with Company’s overall policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and update of the sections’ strategic, budget and procurement, and operational plans ensuring alignment with the department and sector strategy and objectives, and Company’s mission and vision.
• Work with the relevant organizational units to provide media and promotional support for planned Company’s events.
• Publish content in printed publications and digital media platforms to promote Company.
• Act as an Ambassador for Company, fostering relationships with both community and commercial representatives.
• Implement media strategies to promote Company.
• Prepare and archive all company press releases and ensure information flow-through using all media platforms.
• Monitor the management and outcomes of all events and prepare reports and feedback for senior management.
