Job Description:Details of the Division and Team:The team plays a crucial role in promoting regulatory compliance across the organization. It is responsible for providing guidance to the Business on the implementation and management of the control framework to ensure compliance with the Rules and applicable legislation (relating to the Firm’s Financial Services). Your key responsibilities:Regulatory Business Advisor is responsible for providing guidance to the Business on the implementation and management of the control framework to ensure compliance with the Rules and applicable legislation relating to the Firm’s Financial ServicesWork includes:
  • Identifying, prioritizing and assessing Compliance risks
  • Providing guidance on the internal controls relating to Compliance risks
  • Providing regulatory advice to relevant business and/or infrastructure areas
  • Overseeing the remediation of internal and external findings and obligations assigned by any regulatory authorities and monitors; and ensuring consistent tracking and timely closure of findings (incl. reporting).
  • Conducting training to relevant Business on applicable rules.
Your skills and experience:
  • Regulatory Compliance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of relevant DFSA financial regulations and the ability to translate this into Compliance guidance for compliant business operations.
  • Risk Management: Proven experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks, including developing and implementing risk management frameworks.
  • Advisory and Communication: Strong ability to provide clear, concise, and actionable regulatory advice to diverse stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Problem-Solving and Remediation: Demonstrated capability in overseeing and driving the remediation of internal and external findings, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Analytical and Assurance Skills: Proficiency in analyzing complex information to ensure compliance and effective risk control.
