- Lead the supervision of all structural works, including enabling works, foundations, superstructure, post-tensioning, and façade-related structural elements.
- Review and approve structural shop drawings, method statements, calculations, and technical submittals.
- Provide technical leadership on structural issues, including site challenges related to reinforcement, concrete, piling, and temporary works.
- Coordinate with design teams to resolve structural RFIs and ensure constructability and compliance with design intent.
- Supervise and guide structural inspectors to ensure inspections, QA/QC processes, and documentation are properly executed.
- Monitor contractor performance in structural works, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety standards, and construction sequencing.
- Oversee critical activities such as concrete casting, post-tension stressing, piling operations, and structural steel erection.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and local authority requirements.
- Review and validate structural progress reports, testing results, and contractor payment applications.
- Support the Resident Engineer in managing risks, changes, and project performance related to structural works.
- Mentor junior engineers and inspectors to ensure high technical standards and capability development.
- Act as the primary technical interface for structural discipline with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Significant Post-Contract Supervision Consultancy and extensive Engineering experience.
- Experience and acumen in managing and working effectively across multi-disciplinary teams and multi-divisional teams.
- Experience and acumen in managing and working effectively across all support services, divisions, internal and external stakeholders not limited to clients, statutory bodies, sub-consultants, contractors etc.
- Significant knowledge and appreciation of International and Statutory Authority requirements, codes and procedures with the ability to drive full implementation and compliance across the project.
- Motivated and enthusiastic towards continuous self-improvement, and towards line reports to achieve improvement.
- Good people skills, team management acumen and stakeholder management ability.
- Proficient command of the English language (written and spoken).
- Experience and acumen in enabling work (ground improvement, piling work and shoring work) with significant knowledge of different ground improvement techniques, piles tests and shoring systems.
- Experience and acumen in post tension work (review the design calculation, selection of materials, application on site and reviewing of all related reports).
- Experience and acumen in façade design and installation including (precast, GRC, Glass and aluminium)
- Fair experience in structure design with minimum 2 years of experience in G+12 buildings design.
