HSE Engineer Infrastructure Construction Safety - Parsons Corporation - Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Provide technical guidance to project and construction management teams in developing and implementing project safety management plans.
• Assist senior site leadership in establishing and managing environmental, safety, and health risk programs in accordance with corporate safety systems.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Monitor site activities and recommend corrective actions to eliminate or control risks to personnel and property.
• Supervise first aid personnel and ensure prompt response to workplace injuries or safety incidents.
• Review accident records and prepare safety audit reports analyzing incident trends and safety performance.
• Lead accident and incident investigations and prepare detailed reports with recommended preventive measures.
• Represent project management during safety inspections conducted by regulatory authorities or insurance representatives.
• Review safety inspection reports and coordinate implementation of recommended corrective actions.
• Support orientation programs and safety training sessions for new employees and project teams.
• Conduct risk assessments for upcoming construction activities and provide technical guidance during safety planning processes.
• Perform additional safety engineering duties to support safe and compliant project execution.

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in construction safety management.
• At least 8 years of experience in a senior supervisory safety role within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience working with engineering consulting organizations or infrastructure supervision programs.
• Strong understanding of construction safety regulations, incident management, and risk control procedures.
• Ability to manage complex safety operations on large construction projects.

• Professional safety certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, ADOSH Practitioner certification, or similar UAE-recognized safety qualifications.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 safety and environmental management systems.
