This leadership role is responsible for directing the full lifecycle of major infrastructure programmes, ensuring alignment between technical delivery, commercial objectives, and client expectations. The Project Director manages high-level coordination across teams, regulatory authorities, and contractors while maintaining control over cost, schedule, and performance outcomes.Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the organization in all client and stakeholder interactions throughout project execution
  • Lead negotiations on scope changes, contracts, and project adjustments with clients and subcontractors
  • Oversee development and execution of project plans including safety, quality, and delivery strategies
  • Direct all technical, commercial, financial, and administrative aspects of the project
  • Establish programme requirements and ensure all deliverables meet defined standards
  • Mobilize internal resources and build high-performing project teams across disciplines
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and operational plans to ensure successful outcomes
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to address risks or delays
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities and participate in approvals and public meetings
  • Drive quality assurance practices and ensure compliance with engineering standards
  • Lead regular progress meetings and communicate status updates to senior management
  • Support business development efforts to secure additional project opportunities
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in infrastructure or engineering project management
  • Extensive experience managing large multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Strong background in project delivery within Middle East infrastructure projects
  • Proven leadership in handling complex technical and commercial project environments
  • Strong knowledge of industry regulations, project controls, and engineering practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
