Education (minimum):
Master’s: 3+ years’ experience
Bachelor’s: 6+ years’ experience
Specializations: Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or any related field.
Key ResponsibilitiesManagerial Responsibilities
Lead in setting department goals and strategic plans aligned with the Ministry’s vision.
Supervise implementation of approved strategies and objectives.
Direct the preparation and allocation of the department’s budget and oversee expenditure.
Review performance reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
Monitor key performance indicators and propose enhancements.
Determine HR needs and ensure the availability of required competencies.
Provide continuous professional support and constructive feedback.
Promote a culture of cooperation, innovation, and design thinking to improve processes and services.
Institutional Responsibilities
Manage departmental operations in alignment with governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Functional Responsibilities
Oversee development and updating of policies and procedures for data governance and quality, ensuring privacy and accessibility according to best local and international practices.
Lead quality assurance efforts, including audits and reviews to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Direct creation of centralized databases and ensure integration of data from multiple sources.
Oversee planning, collection, and analysis of internal and external data using advanced tools to support evidence-based decisions.
Lead design and implementation of KPIs related to ministry services and programs, updating them as needed.
Supervise preparation of analytical reports with insights on trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate specialized research studies in ministry-related fields and social/economic changes.
Supervise preparation of professional reports on data analysis to measure impact of policies and programs.
Develop advanced tools for analysis and reporting to provide insights to senior leadership.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Department Director.
