The Landscape Inspector is responsible for monitoring site activities, verifying construction quality, and ensuring all landscape works meet approved standards. This role contributes to project success by maintaining accurate records, supporting inspections, and enforcing safety compliance.Key Responsibilities
- Inspect landscape and irrigation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
- Maintain daily records of site activities, work progress, labor, and equipment usage
- Coordinate with contractors to ensure proper execution of work
- Interface with local stakeholders to manage construction impacts
- Arrange material sampling and testing in coordination with quality teams
- Verify line, level, and grading with survey teams for completed works
- Report non-compliance and quality issues to the Resident Engineer
- Maintain records for completed works, payments, and as-built documentation
- Monitor contractor activities and document potential claims-related issues
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with approved safety plans
- Inspect traffic control measures including signage and barricades
- Report and document site incidents promptly
- Diploma in Engineering with specialization in Landscape, Irrigation, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape and irrigation construction supervision
- Strong understanding of construction inspection processes and quality standards
- Experience in infrastructure or urban development projects
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work effectively in site-based environments
- Must be currently based in UAE
