- Conduct detailed risk assessments for sewerage network and microtunneling construction activities
- Identify hazards related to environment, equipment operation, material handling, and work processes
- Review and strengthen risk mitigation measures to minimize accidents and occupational health risks
- Ensure full compliance with applicable health and safety laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Review sewer and stormwater network plans and specifications to identify safety and operational risks
- Develop and manage emergency response plans for incidents such as chemical spills, equipment failures, and site accidents
- Coordinate with emergency services and relevant authorities to ensure rapid response when required
- Enforce compliance with Dubai Municipality and RTA safety and engineering manuals across all project phases
- Prepare, review, and manage traffic diversion schemes for work zones to ensure public and workforce safety
- Monitor site safety performance and report findings to project management
- Promote a strong safety culture across site teams and contractors
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, preferably Civil, Environmental, or Health and Safety Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of experience in safety management for network construction projects
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience on sewerage, stormwater, or microtunneling infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and RTA requirements
- Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills
