SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Handle all financial aspects of gold trading transactions, ensuring compliance with international and UAE-specific regulations.
- Maintain and manage records in line with DMCC compliance requirements.
- Administer and operate the DMCC portal, ensuring timely submission of required reports and documents.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and fund transfers.
- Support internal and external audits, and prepare financial statements as required.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
- Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of UAE-based accounting experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in the gold trading industry.
- DMCC experience and portal management – strong advantage (almost mandatory).
- Professional qualification such as ACCA (completed or in progress) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and local VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
