- Ensure effective administration of all Piping and Mechanical subcontract packages, in alignment with project requirements, contractual terms, and company/ADNOC standards.
- Maintain strict contractual compliance by monitoring subcontractor performance against the approved scope, schedule, specifications, FIDIC conditions, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Piping/Mechanical subcontractors to track progress, resolve interface issues, and ensure alignment with project KPIs and construction priorities.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting, including progress reports, variations, claims, correspondence, approvals, and change orders, ensuring audit-ready recordkeeping.
- Support cost and risk management activities by validating variations, identifying risks, assessing cost impacts, and participating in dispute resolution or commercial discussions.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering, procurement, construction, planning, QC/QA, and project controls teams to ensure smooth execution of Piping/Mechanical works on site.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with HSSE standards, ensuring all Piping and Mechanical activities are executed safely and in accordance with ADNOC and project-specific requirements.
- Contribute to timely delivery of Piping and Mechanical construction packages, supporting achievement of project milestones and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Administer all Piping and Mechanical subcontract packages, ensuring full compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications, and ADNOC/Client standards.
- Review subcontract agreements, scope of work, and technical documentation to ensure subcontractors clearly understand deliverables, responsibilities, and interface boundaries.
- Coordinate daily with Piping/Mechanical subcontractors on work execution, progress monitoring, manpower deployment, material availability, and issue resolution.
- Monitor subcontractor performance against project KPIs, productivity metrics, quality standards, and construction schedules; escalate deviations proactively.
- Verify and process subcontractor invoices, variations, claims, and change requests, ensuring alignment with contract terms and project controls.
- Maintain accurate documentation and correspondence, including progress reports, RFIs, approvals, NCRs, field change requests, and contractual notifications.
- Ensure subcontractors adhere to project specifications, engineering drawings, method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, QA/QC, planning, and project controls teams to support smooth execution of Mechanical and Piping works.
- Identify risks related to schedule, cost, interfaces, or subcontractor performance, and support mitigation measures in coordination with project leadership.
- Participate in site coordination meetings, progress meetings, technical reviews, and commercial discussions with subcontractors and internal teams.
- Monitor HSSE performance and ensure subcontractor compliance with ADNOC and project-specific Health, Safety, Security, and Environment requirements.
- Assist in resolving disputes, gathering supporting documentation, preparing contractual responses, and coordinating with the commercial/contracts team.
- Review subcontractor method statements, plans, material submissions, and schedules for alignment with project requirements and target milestones.
- Support mechanical and piping works close-out activities, including verification of final quantities, completion documentation, as-built records, and final accounts settlement.
- Ensure audit-ready recordkeeping by maintaining a well-organized repository of all subcontract-related documents, approvals, and contractual communications.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain, or a related technical/commercial discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in subcontract administration, contract management, or commercial roles within Oil & Gas, EPC, or large-scale industrial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of Piping and Mechanical construction activities, including isometrics, P&IDs, welding, fabrication, hydrotesting, and mechanical installation practices.
- Good knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions, procurement processes, and project execution procedures commonly used in EPC/EPCM environments.
- Hands-on site-based experience dealing with subcontractors, construction interfaces, scope control, and field-level contract administration.
- Proficiency in managing variations, claims, change orders, and subcontractor billing, with strong analytical and commercial interpretation skills.
- Familiarity with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and HSSE requirements for mechanical and piping construction works.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and record-keeping skills, ensuring contract files remain organized, accurate, and audit-ready.
- Proficient in software tools, including MS Office (Excel, Word), ERP systems (SAP / Oracle), and document control platforms.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
- Ability to work under pressure in challenging site conditions, managing multiple subcontract packages and tight deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and risk-identification abilities, particularly around schedule delays, scope changes, and subcontractor performance issues.
