- Create innovative and diverse menus that showcase seasonal ingredients, local flavors, and culinary trends.
- Collaborate with the food and beverage team to design menus for the hotel outlets.
- Maintain a keen focus on quality, presentation, and flavor profiles to elevate the dining experience and differentiate our offerings in the market.
- Lead and inspire a team of culinary professionals fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration.
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and cost control measures to optimize food quality and minimize waste while maximizing profitability.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to kitchen staff, nurturing their skills and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
- Promote teamwork and cross-functional collaboration between kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Maintain rigorous standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation, conducting regular quality inspections and tasting sessions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and food hygiene practices, conducting regular audits and inspections.
- Collaborate with the food and beverage team to anticipate guest preferences, dietary restrictions, and special requests, ensuring personalized and memorable dining experiences.
- Solicit guest feedback and reviews, proactively addressing any concerns or issues to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Strive to exceed guest expectations by delivering exceptional service, attention to detail, and culinary excellence in every aspect of the dining experience.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role in luxury hotels
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for creativity, innovation, and excellence in cuisine.
- Leadership abilities with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and kitchen management best practices.
