- Undertake routine and non-routine Process Engineering activities (i.e. process calculations, H&MB generation, PFD / P&ID development, process data sheets preparation, review of documents prepared by other
- Ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule
- Preparation of Statement of Requirements (SOR) for projects as per client requirements
- Prepare all relevant process deliverables and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the Client’s procedures and standards
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID and SIL reviews and implement HAZOP, HAZID and SIL review recommendations to Process Design
- Represent Company as a Process Engineering contractor in meetings and at site with client, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Extensive background in concept / feasibility studies, options evaluation, and detail process design of upstream oil & gas processing facilities and water transmission systems.
- Knowledge of the design and operation of upstream oil & gas processing plants and process equipment commonly used in these installations.
- Experience with process equipment specifications, selection and evaluation.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of process engineering design.
- Experience of working on both greenfield and brownfield (expansion / debottlenecking) projects.
- Experience of conducting Process studies and proficient in technical report writing.
- Experience of preparing essential project/technical documents, such as Scope of Work, Basis of design, Functional Design Specifications etc.
- Experience of preparing various design philosophies.
- Strong experience in using Process and Hydraulic Simulation tools (ASPEN HYSYS / UniSim / PROII / DYNSIM / PipeSim / Pipenet/ Fathom/ Flarenet / Wanda / HTRI).
- Large benefit with some knowledge of surge analysis, flow assurance and dynamic simulation concepts and simulation tools.
- Experience in Relief and Blowdown calculations and flare system design.
- Knowledge of Process Control considered beneficial e.g. Process Control Philosophy, Cause and Effects.
