The MHE Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts and other material handling equipment to support uninterrupted warehouse operations. The role requires hands-on technical skills, basic diagnostic capability, and accurate record keeping.Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on forklifts and other material handling equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and carry out corrective actions
- Use diagnostic tools and basic computer systems to troubleshoot faults and record maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate records of service history and spare parts inventory
- Identify leaks, component wear, and electrical faults and resolve them efficiently
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to minimize equipment downtime
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company maintenance procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and organized condition
- Diploma or equivalent technical qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in MHE or forklift repair and maintenance
- Basic computer knowledge with ability to use diagnostic tools and maintain inventory records
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting
- Physically fit and capable of hands-on maintenance work
- Decent communication skills for coordination with teams
