Senior Commissioning Engineer Electrical Systems - DP World - Dubai, UAE

• Lead commissioning activities for complex port and terminal automation systems and electrical installations
• Deploy and manage the site commissioning team while overseeing project schedules and budgets
• Plan and supervise electrical works carried out on site for WCS related projects
• Ensure all commissioning activities are delivered within approved timelines and project budgets
• Coordinate project scheduling activities with the project management office and engineering teams
• Provide technical leadership and training to engineering teams to maintain quality and technical standards
• Lead electrical commissioning efforts including system integration, functional testing, and troubleshooting
• Conduct pre-commissioning and functional tests to verify performance and compliance with project specifications
• Support development and execution of commissioning strategies and technical implementation plans
• Provide expertise on control systems, automation platforms, power distribution networks, and equipment integration
• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure efficient commissioning execution
• Prepare technical documentation including commissioning reports, testing results, and system performance evaluations
• Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and improving commissioning processes
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development within the commissioning team
• Ensure all commissioning work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and technical support

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Instrumentation Engineering
• Minimum seven years of commissioning experience in port operations, terminals, or industrial automation environments
• Experience commissioning port cranes, lifting systems, or large scale automated equipment
• Strong knowledge of automation and control systems including PLCs, SCADA, and drive systems
• Experience with Siemens or ABB automation platforms and industrial control technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and system integration capabilities in complex engineering environments
• Proven ability to manage commissioning teams and coordinate multi disciplinary project activities
• Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills
