Position Summary:Palazzo Versace Hotel is seeking a polished and attentive Cocktail Waitress to join the team at La Vita Restaurant & Bar. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding beverage service.Key Responsibilities:Guest Service:Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere at La Vita.Take drink orders accurately and efficiently, offering recommendations and insights on the cocktail menu.Beverage Delivery:Serve cocktails and beverages promptly, ensuring that all drinks are presented in accordance with La Vita’s high service standards.Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any inquiries or requests, enhancing the overall dining experience.Menu Knowledge:Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the cocktail menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairings with menu items.Stay informed about current beverage trends and seasonal offerings to provide informed recommendations to guests.Collaboration:Work closely with bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and coordination during busy periods.Assist in training new staff on service standards and menu knowledge to promote a cohesive team environment.Compliance and Safety:Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations, maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the service area.Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests.Promotional Activities:Participate in special events and promotions as needed, contributing to the marketing efforts of La Vita Restaurant & Bar.Engage with guests to promote upcoming events and enhance their overall experience.Qualifications:A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or upscale dining establishment.Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage service, with a passion for hospitality.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with guests and foster positive relationships.Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
