Job Description:Location: DP World Head Office, Jafza 17Start Date: May 2026About the Role:This internship sits within the Data Audit, AI & Digital Assurance Solutions (DADAS) team in Group Internal Audit. The intern will focus on exploring, prototyping, and deploying AI-driven solutions that enhance audit delivery and efficiency. The role involves hands-on work with large language models, AI agents, and automation tools helping the team push the boundaries of how AI is applied within an internal audit function. Ideal for someone passionate about applied AI who wants to work on real enterprise use cases.Job Responsibilities:

Assist in exploring and prototyping AI use cases to automate or augment audit processes
Build and test AI agents and automated workflows using LLMs and AI assistant platforms to support audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting
Support prompt engineering efforts designing, testing, and refining prompts to improve the quality and reliability of GenAI outputs
Help evaluate and integrate AI-powered tools into existing audit workflows, ensuring outputs meet quality, governance, and confidentiality standards
Contribute to the development and documentation of the AI governance framework, including guardrails for responsible AI use within internal audit
Support the team in benchmarking emerging AI tools, techniques, and platforms, identifying opportunities for adoption
Assist in building proof-of-concept solutions that combine AI capabilities with data analytics to deliver predictive risk insights

Preferred Education & Experience:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Practical experience using AI assistants and large language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for real tasks beyond casual use
Experience building AI agents or automated workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar orchestration tools is a strong plus
Understanding of prompt engineering principles and techniques
Working knowledge of Python (required) - familiarity with APIs, SDKs, and integration patterns
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or AI deployment environments is desirable
Basic understanding of data governance, responsible AI, or AI risk concepts is an advantage
Strong problem-solving mindset, curious about emerging technology, and comfortable experimenting
Good communication skills - able to explain technical AI concepts clearly to a non-technical audience
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working with ambiguity
