Rig Mechanic Assistant - ADNOC Drilling - Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Perform routine checks, servicing, and preventive maintenance of diesel engines and auxiliary mechanical systems
• Change oils, clean strainers and filters, grease machinery, and top up hydraulic fluids as scheduled
• Carry out minor repairs and report major faults requiring workshop or shore-based support
• Assist in major engine overhauls, pump repairs, generator servicing, and hydraulic equipment maintenance
• Support rig mobilization and equipment readiness during rig moves
• Monitor engines and machinery performance in the absence of the Rig Mechanic
• Maintain optimal engine room conditions including dismantling, cleaning, reassembling, and recommissioning components
• Clean heat exchangers and maintain fuel oil centrifuges and filtration systems
• Ensure strict adherence to rig safety procedures and work permit systems
• Maintain daily engine logs and report diesel and water consumption
• Operate lifesaving and firefighting equipment when required
• Comply with UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling, and client Asset Integrity Management standards

• Secondary education completion followed by two years of mechanical trade training, preferably in diesel engines
• Minimum 4 years of experience in diesel engine operation and repair
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Motorman
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems in offshore or onshore drilling environments
• Good command of English
• Ability to work under demanding field conditions and follow strict safety protocols
