- Principal duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following, which indicates the general nature of work expected:
- Attends to repairs and maintenance of all types of mechanical equipment such as heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment, pumps, water treatment plant, etc.
- Carry out electric arc and oxy-acetylene welding.
- Attending to pipe repairs or fitting work including minor plumbing jobs.
- Ensuring that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair. Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guest room or public area.
- Ensuring that the plant room, workshop, and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition.
- Observing prescribed safety standards. Helping maintain safe conditions for self and others. Performing related duties and special projects as assigned.
- Interacts with other Departments when necessary to provide additional or specialized services for functions, promotions, and festivities.

- Look for creative service delivery
- Diploma or apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical
- Previous resort experience in the same role, within a luxury hospitality environment is preferred
- Ability to solve engineering problems using appropriate theoretical and practical engineering principles.
