This role focuses on providing advanced maternal and fetal care, managing high-risk pregnancies, and supporting clinical excellence through specialized diagnostics, multidisciplinary coordination, and evidence-based treatment approaches.Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-risk pregnancies including maternal complications, fetal anomalies, and multiple gestations
- Perform advanced fetal imaging such as anomaly scans, fetal echocardiography, and Doppler studies
- Conduct prenatal diagnostic procedures including amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling
- Provide expert counselling to families regarding fetal health and treatment options
- Collaborate with neonatology, radiology, and other specialties for integrated patient care
- Coordinate fetal therapy planning and specialized interventions when required
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and follow-up of all clinical cases
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and patient safety programs
- Mentor junior doctors and contribute to training and development
- Engage in research activities and continuous professional development
- Medical degree with board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Subspecialty training or fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Minimum three to five years experience post fellowship in tertiary healthcare settings
- Strong expertise in fetal imaging and high-risk pregnancy management
- Eligibility for professional licensing in the region
- Excellent communication and patient counselling skills
