The Consultant Pediatric Oncologist BMT is responsible for diagnosing and treating pediatric cancers and hematologic disorders, leading bone marrow transplant procedures, and ensuring high standards of patient care and clinical outcomes.Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage pediatric oncology and hematology conditions including leukemia, lymphoma, and solid tumors
  • Perform and oversee autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplant procedures
  • Develop individualized treatment plans through multidisciplinary case discussions
  • Supervise junior physicians and fellows in oncology and BMT protocols
  • Ensure compliance with international clinical standards and hospital policies
  • Participate in clinical research, trials, and continuous medical education
  • Provide counseling to patients and families regarding treatment and post-transplant care
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
  • Participate in on-call rotations and emergency coverage as required
Ideal Profile
  • Medical degree with specialization in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
  • Board certification in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
  • Fellowship training in Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplantation
  • Minimum 5 years of post-fellowship experience in pediatric oncology and BMT
  • Eligibility for DOH or UAE licensing authority
  • Western-trained background preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and patient care skills
