We are seeking a highly skilled CMPC Assistant Manager (Construction Method & Planning Cell - Construction Engineering) to support construction methodology, planning, and engineering activities for a major high-speed railway project in the UAE. This role involves assisting in the development of construction methods, sequencing, and planning while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing the Construction Method & Planning Cell (CMPC) for civil, structural, and railway works
  • Support the development, review, and optimization of construction methodologies, sequences, and work plans
  • Coordinate with design, construction, and project management teams to resolve technical, operational, and interface issues
  • Monitor progress, resource allocation, and productivity, and assist in implementing mitigation measures for risks or delays
  • Review contractor construction methods, execution plans, and schedules, providing technical feedback
  • Participate in value engineering exercises to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure construction methods and plans align with project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in construction planning, methodology development, or construction engineering, preferably in major civil or rail projects
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and in joint venture environments
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, planning, and scheduling tools
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills
  • Based in UAE and/or able to join immediately is a strong advantage
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience in high-speed rail, metro, or large transportation projects
  • Familiarity with construction planning software, scheduling, and reporting systems
  • Knowledge of FIDIC contracts and claims management
  • Multinational project experience with complex stakeholder and interface coordination
