Perform complex liver and hepatobiliary surgical procedures, including major resections and advanced hepatobiliary interventions.
Evaluate patients with liver and biliary diseases and develop comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including hepatologists, oncologists, anesthesiologists, and ICU teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide emergency and on-call surgical coverage as required.
Monitor post-operative recovery and manage complications in accordance with international clinical standards.
Contribute to clinical governance, audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Stay current with advancements in liver and hepatobiliary surgery, techniques, and technologies.
Mentor and supervise junior surgeons, fellows, residents, and medical students.Ideal Profile
Medical degree from an accredited institution.
UK CCT or American Board certification in Liver and Hepatobiliary Surgery.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working at Consultant level.
Proven expertise in complex hepatobiliary surgical cases.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and clinical judgment skills.
Excellent communication and ability to work in high-pressure, multidisciplinary environments.
