Event Coordinator and Event Manager

• Ensuring that all staff members adhere to standard operating procedures, company policies, and industry regulations
• Working with event planners to ensure that all logistical details are taken care of before an event begins
• Overseeing the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including stages and seating areas
• Interacting with clients to coordinate event details such as catering or entertainment
• Scheduling and coordinating the staff for an event using a computerized database
• Ensuring that all attendees have been admitted to an event by scanning tickets or checking IDs against a list of registered guests
• Supervising event staff such as coordinators, ushers, security personnel, ticket takers, and other team members as needed
• Coordinating with caterers, florists, musicians, DJs, entertainers, and other vendors to ensure that they arrive on time and have what they need to perform their jobs effectively
• Monitoring the event to ensure that it runs smoothly and efficiently
