QA/QC Engineer

• Develop and implement Quality Management System (QMS) procedures
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and project specifications
• Prepare and maintain quality plans, procedures, and inspection checklists
• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits

• Perform inspections and tests on materials, processes, and finished work
• Verify compliance with technical drawings, codes, and specifications
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and ensure corrective actions
• Maintain records of inspection and testing activities

• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and contractors
• Monitor ongoing work to ensure quality compliance at every stage
• Conduct material approvals and incoming inspection checks
• Support commissioning and final handover inspections

• Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality records
• Maintain calibration records for tools and equipment
• Document non-conformance reports (NCRs) and follow-up actions
• Ensure proper filing and traceability of quality documents

• Ensure adherence to industry standards, codes, and regulations
• Support safety and environmental compliance where applicable
• Participate in site safety and quality meetings

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or related field)

• 2–8 years of experience in QA/QC or quality-related roles

• Strong knowledge of quality standards and inspection procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASTM, BS, or other relevant standards
• Good analytical and documentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools

• QA/QC certifications or training (ISO Internal Auditor, Lead Auditor)
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects
