The Senior Associate, Collection manages accounts receivable and tenant dues, supports smooth collection processes, and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all collections activities are completed on schedule. The role contributes to financial stability by advising on credit requests, resolving billing issues, and improving collection effectiveness.Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, tenant dues, payment requests, and collections activities
- Build and maintain professional, long-term relationships with tenants to support timely collections
- Reconcile tenant accounts and negotiate payment plans when required
- Coordinate with Finance and internal stakeholders on billing, collections, and receivables matters
- Resolve billing discrepancies, receivables issues, reporting gaps, and control-related concerns
- Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual collection and ageing reports
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, local regulations, tax requirements, and KPIs
- Recommend improvements to billing processes, collection tools, and reporting formats
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or B2B collections, preferably within real estate
- Strong understanding of local regulations related to debt collection, receivables, and revenue management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and time-management skills
- High attention to detail with a results-driven mindset
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems; Yardi experience is an advantage
- Key role within a large asset management and property portfolio
