- Provide comprehensive care for critically ill and premature neonates from admission through discharge
- Conduct and interpret neonatal diagnostic investigations including imaging, laboratory tests, and bedside monitoring
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for complex neonatal conditions
- Monitor patient progress closely and respond promptly to clinical changes
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatric subspecialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and allied health professionals for coordinated care
- Educate and counsel parents on neonatal care, feeding practices, developmental milestones, and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant medical documentation in line with DHA regulations
- Participate in clinical governance, patient safety programs, and quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor and supervise junior doctors and NICU staff, supporting ongoing professional development
- Medical Degree with board certification in Neonatology or Neonatal Intensive Care
- Minimum 5 years of experience at Consultant NICU level in a reputable tertiary healthcare facility
- Western-trained education or clinical experience required
- Fluency in English, with Arabic considered advantageous
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical care expertise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
