Monitor computer systems and network devices to ensure optimal performance and availability.
Operate and maintain computer hardware, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems as needed.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide technical support to end-users.
Perform routine system backups and data recovery procedures to prevent loss of information.
Monitor system logs and alerts to identify potential security breaches or system errors.
Coordinate with IT staff and vendors to resolve technical issues and implement system upgrades.
Document and maintain records of system configurations, software licenses, and user accounts.
Follow standard operating procedures and security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and enhancements to existing systems.Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in computer science or related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a computer operator or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of computer systems and network infrastructure.
Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and MacOS.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
