Job Purpose:Supports the implementation and operationalization of Data Governance Framework from a data quality point of view. This includes, without limitation, implementation of Contact Management process, managing and maintaining Business Glossary, defining and maintaining business rules and data KPIs, coordinating the creation and implementation of Data Improvement Plans (DIPs), and collaboration with different stakeholders to ensure that data quality is fiti-for-purpose.Key Accountabilities:Support in Implementing Data Governance Framework: Under the supervision of the Head of Data Governance, support in executing, operationalizing and implementing Data Governance Framework from a data quality point of view. This includes, without limitation, support in defining business terms, implementing data quality techniques and tools etc.Define and implement Contact Management: Support in defining the best approach to effectively manage and operationalize business contacts leveraging data quality toolsets, technology and methodologies. This includes defining the minimum attributes, business requirements, process and data requirements for capturing and sharing contacts across the organization. Works with the technical teams to implement an effective contact management ecosystem for.Manage and maintain Business Glossary: Working closely with Data Domain Owners and Lead Data Stewards, ensures that Business Glossary is up-to-date, fit for purpose and also accurate. Work with different stakeholders to define new business terms as the need arises and reviews the submitted changes to the glossary before they are approved by the domain owners to ensure consistency across the organizationDefine and maintain business rules and data quality KPIs: Work closely with the respective data domain owners and data stewards to define business rules and data quality KPIs for their respective data domains. Maintains the business rules and ensure that they are fit for purpose. Work with the technical teams to effectively implement the business rulesCoordinate the creation and implementation of Data Improvement Plans (DIPs): Work with the respective data domain owners and data stewards to define Data Improvement Plans for their respective data domains, track and report on progress against plans and also highlight issues or red flags with the plans ahead of time.Data Quality Monitoring and Reporting: Based on the defined business rules, monitor data quality measures and work with the respective data stewards to continuously improve the state of their data through education and awareness. Track the progress of data quality and communicate data improvement stories to different stakeholdersSupporting in managing and maintaining master data and attributes: Work with the respective data domain owners and data stewards to define master attributes for their respective data products, maintain the register of master attributes and ensure that the registers are fit for purposeTraining and education: Train stakeholders on the different aspects of data governance and quality. This incudes conducting training on business terms, business rules, data quality management etc.Collaborate with different stakeholders: Coordinate the creation and operationalization of Data Domain Working Groups and ensure that they deliver their mandate. Collaborate with other stakeholders like data domain owners, Data Hub Team, Knowledge Management Team to ensure that Data Quality objectives are implemented.Qualifications and ExperienceThis role requires a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems or a related field (having a master degree is a plus)Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field with at least 2 years in data quality or quality management or Data. ▪ Hands-on experience in quality management tools or data quality.Knowledge: Business acumen, and the ability to communicate to executives, business domain stakeholders.▪ Ability to manage with different stakeholders at different levels▪ Business domain, data/content and process understanding (which are more important than technical skills).▪ Knowledge of problem analysis and finding solutions to problems.▪ Strong communication and persuasion skills, including the ability to create messaging materials that meet stakeholder needs. This includes exceptional presentation skills▪ Project management experience – should be able to manage mini projects assigned to them.
