- Prepare, review, and update construction plans and drawings for marine construction projects.
- Perform detailed engineering analyses, including structural, geotechnical, and hydraulic calculations relevant to marine environments.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and consultants to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs and plans.
- Develop project specifications, schedules, and budgets, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers, providing technical support and ensuring all materials and work conform to project specifications.
- Utilize CAD software and other engineering tools to create effective design solutions.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities and technical proposals.
- Monitor project progress against plans, identifying deviations, and recommending corrective actions.
- Stay abreast of advancements in marine construction technology and methods, incorporating best practices into project work.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years experience in the marine construction industry, with a proven track record of successful project involvement.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software and engineering design tools.
- In-depth understanding of marine construction materials, methods, and equipment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
