We are representing our client, a state-owned company in the oil sector dedicated to the exploration of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons in the subsoil and on the continental shelf of Angola.Job Overview:The Senior Operations Manager collaborates closely with the management team to ensure effective leadership in implementing strategic objectives. This includes overseeing annual Work Program and Budgets, overall oilfield operations, reporting requirements, and building efficient project execution systems.Responsibilities: * Strategic Leadership:

Communicate Senior Executive direction to various Company departments, overseeing strategic oilfield development planning.
Implement strategic operational plans and decisions as directed by Management, contributing to corporate objectives and outcomes.
Deputize for the General Manager when necessary, ensuring alignment with Company objectives.

Stakeholder Management:

Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Lead in implementing strong HSE discipline and updating EIAs for the blocks.
Focus on cost and timeline adherence according to international standards.

Key Relationships:

With Management: Maintain active communication, provide technical information, and collaborate on day-to-day tasks.
Internal: Handle technical issues between departments, provide feedback on Company plans, and influence decision-making.
External: Communicate with government officials, monitor partnerships, and establish networks for industry collaboration.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Engineering Degree with 15-30 years of experience in upstream oil and gas field development.
Experience in operational, technical, and management roles.

Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment by abiding by Iraqi Statutory Regulations and Client's Iraq Corporate Policy.
