Senior Accountant – Abu Dhabi

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Qualified Accountant preferred).
• 2 to 5+ years of accounting experience in UAE; experience in Oil & Gas Industry will be preferred
• Strong understanding of farm accounting practices, cost accounting, and inventory management.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).
• Monitor daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, payroll, and inventory movements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely invoicing and collections.
• Supervise oil and gas financial activities.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to ensure efficient factory operations.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper ledger entries.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support tax filings (VAT, Corporate tax, etc.).
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting best practices specific to the oil and gas industry.
• Collaborate with operations team to analyze cost variances in production and labor.
• Maintain accurate records of oil production and other production metrics for financial analysis.

• Factory based with regular visits to production sites.
• May involve occasional extended hours during audits or reporting deadlines.
