- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and policies tailored to AL AMEEN's operations.
- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with international and local suppliers.
- Evaluate and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards, delivery schedules, and contract terms.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies in the procurement process while maintaining quality.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Analyze market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies in all procurement activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a procurement team (if applicable).
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of procurement principles, supply chain management, and contract management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficient in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement.
