- Monitor daily civil and infrastructure works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and safety requirements
- Verify materials and workmanship meet project standards, specifications, and applicable codes
- Conduct routine and hold-point inspections for excavation, backfilling, compaction, pavement layers, concrete works, utilities installation, manholes, chambers, and duct banks
- Review and witness field and laboratory tests including soil compaction, concrete, asphalt, and material compliance tests
- Ensure approved inspection and test plans, method statements, and checklists are followed by the contractor
- Prepare inspection requests, site inspection reports, daily logs, and non-conformance reports as required
- Maintain systematic records of inspections, tests, progress, and site communications for audit and reference
- Assist the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer with progress reports and technical inputs
- Review civil and infrastructure drawings and verify works are executed as per latest approved documents
- Report site and design issues promptly and support resolution of contractor technical queries
- Coordinate with other discipline inspectors to manage interfaces effectively
- Monitor contractor quality control procedures and report deficiencies
- Support implementation of project quality plans and corrective actions for non-conformances
- Promote safe working practices and coordinate with site HSE teams as required
- Support site visits by clients, authorities, and stakeholders with accurate records and information
- Ensure road and utility works comply with local authority standards and requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects
- Proven background in roads, bridges, highways, and utilities projects
- Prior consultancy experience in a supervision role
- Strong understanding of site construction practices and consultant supervision procedures
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
