The analyst will be responsible for the following areas, sourcing deals, executing due diligence, monitoring a watch list of current and prospective investments, and assisting the Head of Research in business development activities.

Reporting to the Fund Manager, the key responsibilities of the role are as follows

Source investment opportunities
Execute due diligence, which includes financial statement analysis, business drivers analysis, valuation analysis including financial model building
Monitor a watch list of current and prospective investments including regular interaction with companies and network and updating of models based on new information including financial statements and other corporate actions/filings
Present investment case to the Investment team

The successful candidate should have the following:

A bachelor's degree in Economics/Finance or equivalent, CFA preferred
A minimum of 4 years' of experience in emerging and/or frontier market equity research either on the buy-side
Strong communication skills

The client is an asset management company, headquartered in UAE with offices in UAE, KSA and UK. Their current investors include international endowments and GCC based institutional clients with a total AUM of approximately USD 2Bn.
