This role supports senior leadership in managing government client relationships while contributing to the execution of investment banking transactions. It plays a critical role in ensuring portfolio growth, maintaining credit quality, and delivering structured financial solutions aligned with client needs and bank strategy.Key Responsibilities
- Support Managing Directors and Executive Directors in originating new business opportunities across banking products
- Participate in financial analysis of clients and industries to identify risks and opportunities
- Contribute to development of term sheets, financial models, and information memorandums
- Assist in deal execution including pitching, negotiation, and transaction closure
- Coordinate with internal teams to assess credit, market, and operational risks
- Maintain and update account plans for key government clients
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to enhance client portfolio value
- Ensure timely submission of credit reviews and compliance with internal requirements
- Manage client documentation, pipeline updates, and transaction tracking
- Support KYC and AML processes to ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist in preparation of MIS reports and performance updates
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, audit requirements, and internal control frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
- MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in investment banking or corporate banking
- Strong understanding of UAE banking sector and government-related transactions
- Experience in financial modelling, deal structuring, and client management
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
